Pinoy T.A.L.K. features "Buffet Asia Restobar" in Asian Food Trip by Chef Mich


Pinoy T.A.L.K. (Travel, Adventure, Leisure and Knowledge), a reality travelogue program that features various tourist destination with other elements to make it more visually colorful and exciting such as customs, traditions, business, food and traits, brings you a very interesting and mouth-watering segment entitled "Asian Food Trip by Mich." 

Pinoys love to eat, and we all love to gamble on food, explore different tastes, cuisines, menus and everything. Actually, even some of us, make "eating" a habit that's very hard to break (hehe). Well, here's another habit that we should watch out for-  Pinoy T.A.L.K. has been featuring Buffet Asia Restobar in one of their segments, "Asian Food Trip by Mich," for several episodes now. The restobar is just located at 77 G/F of Westria Residences in West Ave., Quezon City. 

The very first time I saw this place while passing by, really caused my head to turn more than twice. Why? It was because of  their full banner that says...




I couldn't believe my eyes! That was my first time to see a "buffet" wherein we can take our "leftovers" out, huh! You better believe it! For you to have an idea, here are the specifications:

The pretty Chef Mich Gonzaga- Ibay, Buffet Asia owner and executive chef, shares her cooking ideas and fusion (Filipino, Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and Thai) dishes to the viewers of Pinoy T.A.L.K. which airs on Studio 23, every Saturday, 8:30- 9:00 AM. This exciting show makes our Saturday mornings very refreshing and gives us a very good reason to start the day feeling lively, happy, inspired and hype all day long despite our busy schedules.

Which school will reign supreme at the Toonami 3x3 Hoops Showdown?



A full day of epic 3-on-3 basketball this July 13 at SM Mall of Asia!

Toonami, the Philippines’ most exciting superhero channel, is bringing together the country’s young basketball stars for the TOONAMI 3x3 HOOPS SHOWDOWN on July 13 at the Music Hall of SM Mall of Asia. Gates open at 11 a.m. and admission is free.

Students from 10 schools across the metro will be going head to head in four-member teams, competing across three age divisions.

The clinic is also supported by TV host/athlete Rovilson Fernandez.

NBA LEGEND SAM PERKINS TO VISIT MANILA TO PROMOTE NBA GLOBAL GAMES PHILIPPINES 2013



NBA Legend Sam Perkins and former member of the Indiana Pacers will be in Manila from July 1 – July 4 to promote the upcoming NBA Global Games Philippines 2013. The game, which will be played at the Mall of Asia Arena on Thursday, October 10, is part of the NBA’s comprehensive Global Games schedule and will be the league’s first preseason game in the Philippines and in Southeast Asia.
Perkins will headline the ‘100 Day Countdown’ event, conduct mall visits and participate in special programs conducted by the NBA and SM Group.

The NBA Global Games will see eight NBA teams play in eight cities in six countries this October. The schedule—which will also feature the Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Philadelphia 76ers and Washington Wizards—will also include the first-ever NBA preseason game in Brazil, and in the cities of Bilbao, Spain, and Manchester, England. It will also include games in Beijing, Istanbul, Shanghai, and Taipei. 

To date, the NBA has staged 138 preseason and regular-season games in 19 countries and regions across Europe, the Americas and Asia since 1978.

"Juan Night" Concert with Jose and Wally on July 6




Popular comedians/ tv hosts and concert artists, Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola will stage an upcoming concert entitled "Juan Night" on July 6, 2013, Saturday, 8pm at Crossroad Center in Quezon City. In celebration of the "World Thyroid Day," the Philippine Society of Nuclear Medicine (PSNM) wanted to give back, via this fund raising concert. 

PSNM is a society of physicians, medical technologists and allied professionals dedicated to the safe and beneficial uses of radionuclides by providing its members comprehensive education, training and opportunities for research, and by delivering quality services to the Filipino people. By taking part in this event, you will not only be helping 10 indigent patients from all over the Philippines, you will be absolutely entertained by their performances and you also get a chance to join the raffle. Winners will be drawn on the event day (through their ticket numbers found at the bottom right of the tickets). Prizes would be gift packs, GCs and travel package.
