Popular coffee spot marks milestone with anniversary celebration and new product launcha

Courage and innovation always go with being darker, bolder and better... same goes with my fave coffee place ... Dark Roast Coffeehouse
Congratulations and happy 1st anniversary!!! Woot woot! 🥳🎊😘☕️🥂

Can't still believe it has been a year since I and some of my blogger/friends went out to do a pre-taste of Dark Roast Coffeehouse's upcoming menu...

I could still remember commending their Strawberry Latte, Fizzy Peach and their Match drinks... and oh wow, those are still a big hit as of this writing.  My full hopes and happiness go to the four owners of this fab cafe---  Jiane, Krista, Eli and JM who are real friends actually.

QUEZON CITY, Philippines – April 27, 2025 – Dark Roast Coffeehouse, a thriving hub in the bustling Maginhawa area, is thrilled to celebrate its first anniversary today. Overcoming the challenges of a competitive landscape, the coffee house has established itself not just as a purveyor of fine coffee but as a vital community space over the past year.
To mark this milestone under the banner "Darker. Bolder. Better.", Dark Roast Coffee House is hosting a special celebration this evening, with The owners, Krista, Jianne, Eli, and John, sharing their excitement and
gratitude for the community's support.

"This past year has been an incredible journey," said John. "Seeing Dark Roast become a second home for students, artists, and neighbors in Maginhawa is more than we ever dreamed of. We wanted to build something real, and the community response has been overwhelming."
Since opening its doors, Dark Roast Coffee House has become a favorite gathering place for students, a venue for independent musicians, and a meeting point for press, bloggers, and various personalities. It has distinguished itself through its commitment to quality coffee, cozy atmosphere, and fostering a sense of community.

Krista added, "We started with a passion for bold coffee and a desire to build connection. Reaching our first anniversary proves that people crave authenticity, community, and yes, seriously good dark roast! We're just getting started."

The anniversary celebration, set for 6:00 PM tonight, April 27th, at their location (G/F TKC Square Bldg., Maginhawa, QC), promises an evening of appreciation, connection, and exciting new tastes. Attendees will enjoy a tasting flight of the latest coffee and bread creations, including the new Dark Roast Latte, Oreo Croissant, and Black Sesame Croissant, share stories, and get a look back at the year's achievements.

"We're immensely grateful to everyone who's walked through our doors and supported us," expressed Eli. "This celebration isn't just about us reaching a milestone; it's about the vibrant community that makes Dark Roast special. Get ready for Darker, Bolder, Better things ahead!"
The Dark Roast Coffee House team extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been part of their successful first year and looks forward to celebrating this evening.
Jianne remarked, "From launching unique brews and pastries to hosting talented indie musicians, year one laid the foundation. We're excited to unveil what's next tonight and continue brewing joy together with our amazing patrons."

Here are some of the videos from their anniversary celebration:

And in line with their very successful first year anniversary, they had come up with new flavors of drink and pastries!

MIDNIGHT MOCHA
Sip carefully—this midnight bites back.

Dark. Smooth. Unapologetically bold.
This pitch-black potion blends rich cocoa, a double shot of espresso, and a splash of secret potion for that smoky-smooth hit. Topped with a cloud of cream for a finish that’s as soft as the silence after midnight.

☕ Cocoa • Espresso • Velvet Cream
🕯️ Iced but never cold
🎭 Decadent • Bold • Slightly Wicked

Black Sesame Croissant
It's bold. It's Bougie. It's a dark twist on a classic.
Crafted with rich flaky dough and filled with a smooth, nutty black sesame cream. Deep, toasty flavors wrapped in delicate, buttery layers. A bold, luxurious pastry for those who savor the extraordinary. #BlackSesameDream

Oreo Croissant
It’s an Oreo. It’s a croissant. It’s everything you didn’t know you needed.
Flaky, buttery layers packed with creamy Oreo filling. Decadent, dreamy, and dangerously irresistible. Warning: self-control is not invited. #NotYourOrdinaryOreo
