The Flames of CoVid-19

As the fires of the COVID - 19 pandemic rage onwards, Filipinos all over the country rely on the services of Frontliners more than ever.
Kris Nicolas, a volunteer firefighter, and a member of the COVID patient transmission team of Quezon City is one of our nation’s Frontliners. He selflessly risks his life to be of service to his fellow countrymen during this difficult time. Often, he spends extended periods away from home and being too tired once he finally has time to himself.


Unfortunately, this is an issue that a considerable majority of our COVID-19 Frontliners go through, with Kris himself longing to spend more time with his Grandmother especially last Mother’s Day.
When asked about his relationship with his grandmother, Kris automatically lit up with excitement. "When I was little, my Lola would bring me with her to the church, which nurtured a positive habit that I continue to practice to this day," he enthused.
"Whenever I have days off, she would cook for me, which is something I cherish greatly as my current schedule leaves me little to no time anymore. So, something as simple as a meal with her means the world to me," he added.
As Kris won't be able to physically be present with his grandmother during Mother's Day, Goldilocks, wanted to thank Kris for all that he has done as a Frontliner by surprising his Grandmother with a signature cake to celebrate such a special day.
Goldilocks is celebrating mothers for the whole month of May because our moms deserve more than just a day of celebration for their love and care. With the desire to make frontlines like John and his family happy, Goldilocks will be sending cakes to some deserving families throughout the month.

Goldilocks Opens 730th store

An abundance of smiles were seen at the recent opening of the brand-new Goldilocks Store located at located in Blk. 48 Lot 18, NHA Avenue, Brgy. Nayon 2, Phase 3A, Brgy. San Isidro, Antipolo City, Rizal., marking it as their 730th branch to date. 
The celebration, which began with a short spiel from the host started with the phrase “Goldi Good Day”, a common greeting within the Goldilocks family followed with words appreciation towards the attendees stating that the latest Goldilocks store can finally be part of their everyday celebration within the community. 
After the opening spiels and a short speech by Goldilocks’ Senior Vice President, Mr. Jason Koo. The ceremonial ribbon was cut signifying the official beginning of operations of the store. 
Afterwards, Goldilocks Executives and VIP invitees presented the “Goldilocks Mamon Box” a container filled with delicious Goldilocks Mamon which were handed out to all Goldilocks customers in attendance as a means showing appreciation to the attendees . 
As the event winded down to a close, Goldilocks executives and staff thanked all customers that took time to celebrate with them during this special occasion and were told to stay tuned to Goldilocks social media updates for the exciting promos and deals in the coming future, . Goldilocks Promotes Educated Eating

While eating is a necessity to live, Filipinos have elevated this requirement to an expression of love, affection, and thoughtfulness. Proof of that is our tendency to say, “Kain tayo!” after greeting a friend, or asking “Kumain ka na ba?” as a way of asking how our friends are doing. Unfortunately, there are instances when this love for eating leads to over indulgence and poor dietary decisions.

Being informed about our food intake is one of the many ways we can take care of our health. But in this fast-paced world wherein we hardly have any time to cook and ordering food is a more viable option, it may be harder to stick to a sensible diet.

To address this concern, responsible food establishments and institutions are working hand-in-hand to develop healthier meals that will help Filipinos get the proper nutrition they need, without stopping them from eating what they love.



In 2015, for instance, Goldilocks launched the Pinggang Pinoy Meals. The meals were created as part of an advocacy partnership with the Food and Nutrition Research Institute (FNRI). It aims to help provide the right amount of nutrients and calories needed by the average Filipino.



The country’s number one bakeshop has continued this initiative up to the present, and improved upon it with the addition of a Calorie Content count printed beside the menu of Pinggang Pinoy Meals. This will help ensure that consumers are  aware of how much you they are consuming, and how close they are to the recommended 2000 calories per day.
