"King Bee:" The King of Chinese Food

It's been eleven years now since owner Mrs. Ang Ong King Bee had established their family business in Brgy. Manggahan, Gen. Trias, province of Cavite on August 17, 2001. Since then, it had been known and famous in the said province for its authentic Chinese Cuisine. They even hired the expertise of International Chefs from Hong Kong who personally prepare the menu and manage the kitchen. The operation is being managed by best experienced professionals in the field of food services.

I myself had a gastronomic experience dining in this well- talked about Chinese resto. You can choose from wide array of dimsums, roast specialties, noodles soup and other main courses cooked in authentic way. King Bee realizes that in order for them to cater not only the walk-in clients, they also opted to reach the door steps of each residence near the vicinity who wished to have food products by delivery. They even accommodate off-premise catering services in order to be more accessible to those clients who may find hard time of reaching the location and at the same time maintaining high-quality products and services that have created a remarkable patronage for the company.

Just recently, me and my friends had an unforgettable experience with ala festive mood to be precise :)) I consider it one of the "hefty times" of my life in terms of food consumption hehehe and of course dining at the newly built King Bee Restaurant in Commonwealth Ave., Q.C. wouldn't be that wondrous without my fellow blogger/ friend's company at all. Even the food attendants, managers and the owner's granddaughter Ms. Andrea were so accommodating and generous in attending to all of us.

Ms. Andrea of King Bee Restaurant with Commonwealth branch manager

I'm pretty much sure that before the end of my food review, you'll definitely feel the desire to eat and look for any King Bee branch nearest your place. For those who have lost their appetite for quite sometime, well, here's your chance now to regain it! And now... to share with you what they had prepared for all of us, here's an awesome starter...

It was really my first time to see a gigantic wintermelon in my entire life! And I bet most of you haven't seen that kind either :)) We were served a "Wintermelon Soup" with prawns, veggies and meat. According to King Bee peeps, it takes about 3-4 hours to prepare, that dainty huh :)) Can you see the excitement on my co-blogger/ friend FPJ's face? hihihi

Of course, one of the reasons that I frequent Chinese restos is the dimsums! We had Pork siomai (Php 80); the very intriguing Bird's Eye siomai (Php 90); and the very tasty and well-cooked Chicken feet (Php 70)

We also had a chance to taste King Bee House Specialty Roast Chicken (Half- Php 260, Whole - 520). This is also a must- try most especially for the whole family to share with.

Healthy and delicious Sliced Beef with Broccoli Flower (S- Php 300, M- 450, L- 600) must not go out of your list when you visit any King Bee Chinese and Seafood Restaurant.

So you think we had enough huh, nah ah hihihi here's another jaw-dropping, scene stealer Chinese authentic meal! It's the majestic Sauteed Crystal Prawn Balls with Cashew Nuts in Taro Nest. I really commend whoever created this bowl-like taro nest, it was so skillfully done, very healthy and sumptuous!   My pretty friend Cristelle was so addicted with this one, it was a hit! :P

Can't you see how fascinating this Fried King Fish with Mango in Thai sauce is?! From the very stylish cucumber up to its sauce with mango slices, oh my, this was a super duper ultra mega blockbuster to all of us! And am sure, you're gonna love this seafood dish too. Me, Cristelle and Aylin were jokingly clamoring for additional mango slices hahaha :D The price is btw seasonal.

But of course, the all-time favorite in Chinese restaurants...Yang Chow fried rice (Cup- Php 100, S- 210, M- 315, L- 420) will always be there.  Ooops! It's a bit pricey huh! Well anyway, you can still choose from other rice options like plain, garlic fried rice, Beef fried rice, Salted Fish with Chicken fried rice and Seafood fried rice.

It's dessert time! Introducing, another blockbuster in the making! Actually, I was referring to the white, rounded dessert they've offered us. As of the present, they are still working on those two kinds of Chinese pastries. Hence, I'd like to name it as Chinese Creamy Mochi Ball, take note of that huh, Mr. Marco Demo (kwentototo.blogspot.com) hehehe :))  I'm so sorry but I didn't pay much attention to the other one because I was so overwhelmed by the satisfaction brought by the mochi balls, am I right, Cristelle dear? We were really into it, the mochi balls' texture and right softness blends well with the creamy filling and the mango flavored syrup. In short, "winner" talaga... wagi!!! :))) Please do watch out for it!

While we still can't move on with the previous dessert, we were astounded by the arrival of this towering and amazing Mixed Fruits Platter! Hmmm... I wonder how long will it take to prepare this? hehe :))

My judgement: Thumbs-up King Bee!

with my fellow bloggers and King Bee's Ms. Andrea

Truly, the company never stops in creating new ideas and concepts to expand the business that will provide the community with excellent dining experience at the most affordable cost. It also envisions of becoming a leading Chinese food experts in the country. Patrons are the foremost inspiration why the company never stops to aim high. This is because of the patronage and positive reception with the foods and services that the company provides.  Therefore, expansion of its kind is always the thrust of venture by the aggressive men and women behind KING BEE FOOD CORPORATION.

Right now the company has seven (7) branches in the provinces and in the metro that cater to customers who longs for Chinese cuisines, its branches are located in:

The delightful goodness of Gardenia Pandesal

Waking up with the wafting aroma of pandesal will surely bring back many fond memories. Who can forget dipping and dunking this soft bun into a fresh cup of coffee or chocolate drink before relishing it? Some even enjoy pandesal with condensed milk, especially when the thick milk starts to ooze out from the bread and the urgent need to catch and lick it before it spills on the floor. Simple yet delicious treat.

Among the breads in the Philippines, pandesal is undoubtedly the king as it is an important part of our tradition and culture. Recognizing the need of Filipino consumers for high quality pandesal, Gardenia has made its own version of pandesal using world-class standards to ensure utmost quality in both taste and appearance.

Aside from bringing back happy memories, enjoying the delightful goodness of Gardenia pandesal is always a pleasurable experience.

So how does the Gardenia Pandesal experience start?

It begins the minute you pull one out of a pack—the smell of deliciousness and freshness. You’d almost instantly want to savor on its delightful flavor. The first bite is another story, experiencing the delectable taste the moment you sink your teeth onto its crusty outside yet blissfully soft inside.

One more distinctive attribute of Gardenia pandesal is its delicious hot or not. It’s disappointing when the bread you heated becomes hard as a stone when you take it off from the oven. But with Gardenia, consumers are assured that the pandesal will remain tasty, filling and appetizing even after heating or re-heating it, just like the moment you bought it from the supermarket.

Whether with scrambled eggs, fried spam or hotdog, ham, peanut butter, coconut jam, plain good butter or just by itself, Gardenia pandesal could be consumed during breakfast, merienda in the afternoon or late in the evening since it can stay fresh and soft longer, making Gardenia a sure-fire and practical choice for consumers. Plus, Gardenia Pandesal is packed with vitamins and minerals, a bit of news that would certainly bring a smile to Mommies’ faces since they know that every bite of Gardenia Pandesal is good for their kids’ health and nutritional needs.

Consumers are also assured that Gardenia observed strict quality control in the production of its bread products, giving Mommies peace of mind.

For Mommies who want to whip up something for their kids’ merienda or baon that they can enjoy once they go back to school, try making your own by adding tomato sauce and their favorite toppings to an open-faced pandesal and pop it in the oven for that instant, home-made pizza! For office workers, grab a bottle of your favorite soda—or again with coffee—together with Gardenia pandesal for that quick yet tasty break time treat. Longing for palaman for your pandesal, you could always use any savory left-over food from the refrigerator.
