Hola!!! Here in the Philippines, we have very few good choices for Tex Mex cuisine. So what do we actually mean when we say Tex Mex? According to Wikipedia, it is from Texan and Mexican), also known as Mexican American cuisine, is a fusion of Mexican and American cuisines, deriving from the culinary creations of the Tejano people living in Texas. 

And when we say Texan and Mexican food, it also means that there's a wide variety of our favorite and overflowing nachos, burritos, quesadillas, tacos, grilled steaks, grilled sausages, also pizza, enchiladas, cheese, spicy food, chilli con carne and a lot more that we, Filipinos also get to love and are very fond to munch on. 

You see there's this one emerging and fast-rising Southwestern Resto in and outside the Metro. It's called the "Fiery Style" Southwestern Flaming Grill Resto and is now open also in Gateway Mall in Cubao, Quezon City. This is their 12th and newest branch to date and according to them, they are aiming to open more branches within the year, possibly until it reaches its 25th branch!!! Oh my, that's a lot right?! I mean they could really be that huge and so in demand to open up and multiply that fast! Hmmmm... am I getting your interest now? Well, if you haven't been to any of the Fiery Style branches, and not familiar with it yet, on that note, I am going to help you get to know Fiery Style Resto... 

We were recently invited to join the grand opening of Fiery Style Gateway Mall just recently, it was not difficult to locate since their facade is just exactly opposite the "New Frontier" theater, so no reason to get lost okay :) And speaking of getting lost, you might feel it too, once you get to taste their Tex Mex varieties!

For a fresh start, we were served with this...

The very famour Fiery Nachos! Oozing with cheese, meat, guacamole, tomato salsa, refried beans, jalapeños, black olives and a lot more for Php388

You have to choose between Corn Chips or Potato Chips and for the meaty part, you can choose between Grilled Jalapeño-lime Chicken, Mexican Chilli Beef or Barbecued Beef Brisket which was what we had during our visit. 

Being a self-confessed "shrimp fanatic," it is an imperative for me to remind myself to order a dish with shrimps on it so we had ,,,

Salpicao  De Mar Y Tierra 

Tender Beef and Succulent Shrimps sauteed in fiery salpicao sauce for Php398 

This dish was so good, for "starters" and it also goes well with rice! Believe me!

This could be so perfect when you're dining in with your family, friends or peers for a group of 2 to 3 (Supremo) or 4 to 5 (Ultimo).  For us, foodies, we are all fond of ordering these group meals, right? I guess, we are all accustomed to that type of serving, much cheaper and yet we can have a platter of different menu entrees, right?! It's like a "boodle" kinda thing, you know what I mean. :))

Whoever had this "bright and creative" idea of naming this dish, well, I commend you, it was so catchy and yer very funny huh?! Well, you can never go wrong with this Southwestern Buffalo wings, alright, for me this could be one of the best dish for sharing, aside from its very flavorful taste, it includes 24 chicken wings, 8 of which topped with the following flavours:  Hot hot hot Sauce, Nacho Cheese Sauce & Bacon and Texan Style BBQ

This one really caught me by surprise! I did not have any expectations or whatsoever when I ordered for this Mexican favorite, but the moment I munch on it, it was so yummy, very cheesy and satisfying! This is really a must-try peeps! 

This cheesy & crispy treat stuffed with Mexican Cheese, Ranchero Sauce, Shredded Lettuce and your choice of filling.  Served with Guacamole, Sour Cream and you choice of salsa.

"Three's A Company" concert artists Carlo Mendoza, LA Santos and Kiel Alo at the backstage after their gig 

It was a very awesome sight seeing this signage the moment I stepped in front of the Music Hall in Metrowalk last night. This reverted me back more than a year ago, when I first saw the "Hugot King's" guest performance in one of Sir Jobert Sucaldito's self-produced concerts. He was a shy one but you can see through his performances that he's full of passion for his chosen craft and that he's a lot to offer. 

Whereas with LA Santos, I haven't seen him perform live yet but I've known and have talked to him for several times through blogcons and I must say he's a natural and has a very pleasant and unique personality that everyone loves about him. He's also a very promising singer who also loves his craft and is making up to meeting his hectic schedule with his studies and his career at the same time. 

As for Carlo, I guess this will be his first introductory concert and I've heard a lot about him like he's a potential crooner in this modern day. A millennial who's also malong his way up and ready to face the challenges that he might be able to take in his chosen career as a singer/performer. 

With Kiel, LA and Carlo on stage, we were so thrilled to watch their group and solo performances!

I must commend that I was so moved by Kiel's performance of his single "Aasa Pa" composed by Mr. Vehnee Saturno. I wanted to congratulate him for doing such a good job and giving his best to make it really work. The song was so touching and he made justice to his first single. Hope that more people could hear him sing and appreciate his song too. 

LA Santos was a pleasant sight to behold! Aside from his good looks, he really enjoyed what he's doing and it was very evident in his every performance. He keeps the mood so light and lively and I commend him for having such a great stage presence. His confidence is never a question. I really enjoyed watching him perform his "Isang Linggong Pag-ibig" single. 

Watching the young blood, Carlo Mendoza, is like watching Erik Santos in his teenage moments. His voice can be so powerful if he really wanted to give his all. I can see that he has a wide vocal range, he looks so innocent on stage and sometimes exhibits a bit of shyness which is so natural most especially for a newbie like him. He has good choice of songs that helped a lot in showcasing his talent. He also sang his first single entitled "Bituin" composed by Mr. Vehnee Saturno.

Overall, it was a very fun and entertaining Saturday night. The wacky duo of AJ and Le Chazz plus Ms. Laarni Lozada's very powerful voice, made it even more enjoyable for everyone!

Kiel Alo, Carlo Mendoza and LA Santos promise to give you jaw-dropping performances in "THREE's A COMPANY" concert under the musical direction of Mr. Butch Miraflor.

"This is my very first time in a real concert. The last performance I did was when I guested in Macoy Mendoza's birthday concert also at the Music Hall months back. Ngayon, isa na ako sa main performers kaya abot-leeg ang kaba ko. Ha! Ha! Ha! Sabi nga ng manager namin ni Kuya Kiel na si Nanay Jobert Sucaldito, since ginusto ko 'to, panindigan ko 'to dapat and I agree. Whew! I am praying to God na gabayan ako with this," Carlo Mendoza humbly shared.
