Bryan Termulo's "Dadalhin" has really brought his career on high

Bryan Termulo's own version of "Dadalhin" has really captured everyone's attention and the hearts of many most especially his female followers and admirers. The song was originally done by Songbird Regine Velasquez- Alcasid but Bryan has proven worthy of doing the remake of "Dadalhin" which now has already achieved Gold and reached a platinum record award, he is that great huh! ;))  The first time I've heard him sang this song was when I attended the ABS-CBN's top-rating Primetime teleserye "Walang Hanggan" presscon. Everyone's attention was immediately drawn to this promising balladeer in town and each pair of eye was glued towards him. His performance was undoubtedly one of the fairest and he lived up to the public's expectations.

Bryan singing "Dadalhin" during "Walang Hanggan" presscon

A lot of good developments to Bryan's career happened  after that; he's never been so busy in his life... aside from being one of the members of Boys R Boys from the Sunday top rating musical variety show ASAP 2012 together with other members Alex Castro, Markki Stroem and "Angelito" lead star JM de Guzman, he had tried appearing in several tv programs like "Budoy" and "Wansapanatym." During the bloggers' meet and launching of his newest album entitled "Hanggang Ngayon," he still professed that singing is still his first love even if he's now venturing into another acting job via this upcoming Kapamilya teleserye "Against All Odds" with the powerhouse cast that includes no other than the "Queen of Primetime Teleserye" Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo, Sam Milby, KC Concepcion, John Estrada, Mylene Dizon, Jessy Mendiola, Joseph Marco, Tirso Cruz III and Ms. Coney Reyes.

The ever amiable Bryan during the Bloggers Conference

This talented "bulakenyo" (he's from Bocaue, Bulacan) singer was also tagged as the "Prince of Teleserye Theme Songs" of the Kapamilya network having been successful in rendering theme songs from several teleseries like "Dahil Sa Pag-ibig" and "100 Days in Heaven." Bryan is very thankful that he's now being considered and grateful that he belongs to the roaster of talented Pinoy balladeers like Eric Santos and Christian Bautista.

The 24 year old handsome singer has even more to show and offer to his valued followers and admirers. His "Hanggang Ngayon" album which was produced by BWB Records and Music Production Inc. showcases original OPM songs like: Lagay ng Puso, Nasan Ka Na, Kung Maibabalik, Aanhin Pa, and Hanggang Ngayon with bonus tracks Dadalhin and another remake Pagdating Ng Panahon which was originally done by Aiza Seguerra. Bryan's album was distributed by Star Records and is now available in all record stores nationwide.

Bryan gladly performed several songs from his newest album

Incidentally, his "Hanggang Ngayon" track list was nominated at the recently concluded OPM Tambayan Music Awards 2012 and had acquired the 7th spot in Astroplus/ Astrovision's OPM Best Selling Album Chart from June 25 until July 1 of this year. As part of promoting his second album, the newest balladeer is now being seen in several mall tours/ shows and he will be in SM Center Las Piñas (September 2), SM Fairview (September 8), SM Sucat (September 9), SM Olongapo (September 15), SM Baliwag (September 16), SM Naga (September 22) and SM Tarlac (September 29).

Bryan Termulo with me and my fellow bloggers, oh yeah!

To all the girls who are wishful thinking and still hoping... good news! Bryan is not committed as of the moment hihi  the only thing that he's committed to right now is his career and studies.

Hope you'll enjoy this video wherein Bryan sings "Dadalhin" with the bloggers live during his album launching. :))

Jovit Baldivino more than just a Champ

Jovit Baldivino was my best "bet" for the "Pilipinas Got Talent" (PGT) Season 1. Of course, we all know that he deserves his title as the 1st PGT grand champion, right? But have you ever wondered knowing the "real" Jovit behind his every success?

Pinoy singing champ Jovit Baldivino dedicates his newest album, “OPM’s Greatest: Volume 1” to his Filipino fans all over the world who have remained faithful to him since his “Pilipinas Got Talent” days.
“Nagpapasalamat po ako na marami ang sumusuporta sa akin. Hindi po sila bumitaw mula pa noong nagsisimula ako sa “Pilipinas Got Talent,” Jovit said. “Malaking bahagi po sila ng tagumpay ko at alay ko sa kanila ang lahat ng ginagawa ko, lalo na po ang third album ko,” he added.

Jovit during his presscon

Just recently, Jovit was presented with a triple platinum award for his debut album “Faithfully” and platinum award for his second record titled “I’d Do Anything For Love.”
Jovit was the first grand winner of ABS-CBN’s hit nationwide reality talent search, “PGT.” Just as lucky and blessed as he is another feather in his cap was added; he was named “Best New Artist” by Aliw Awards in 2010. Some of Jovit’s hit songs include “Faithfully,” “Too Much Love Will Kill You,” “Ika’y Mahal Pa Rin,” and “Mula Sa Puso.”

Being the “bread winner” of his family, Jovit was very happy to share us that he has slowly making their dreams come into reality. Their new bungalow house is being constructed in Batangas and his three siblings are studying in a private school. The talented singer talked about his future plans, as soon as his siblings are stable and settled, he hopes to take up law or engineering.

He doesn’t mind being compared to PGT Season 2 grand winner, Marcelito Pomoy, for he considers him a friend and not a competitor. According to Jovit, they both came in the music industry at a different time and had their respective titles in different seasons. For him, his family is his first priority.

Good news never seems to keep coming for this great singer from Batangas, he now has his third album released under Star Records. It features a compilation of his heartfelt renditions of ten well-loved Pinoy classics including its carrier single “Tell Me,” which was originally sung in the 80’s by Joey Albert.

Jovit poses with his 3rd album "OPM's Greatest: Volume 1"

Completing the tracklist of all-English 'OPM's Greatest: Volume 1" album are "You Are My Song," "I'll Never Go," which is according to Jovit, this is one of his favorite cuts from his latest album as well as the song "Tell Me." To add more OPM hit songs to his album, they've also included "Forevermore," "Make Believe," "Only Me and You," "Someone's Always Saying Goodbye," "Forever's Not Enough," "My Love Will See You Through" and "Say You'll Never Go."
The album was produced by Jonathan Manalo.

Watch Jovit as he sings "Tell Me"

Another good news! You can now download tracks of Jovit's third album on www.mymusicstore.ph.

Jovit, together with Yeng Constantino, Angeline Quinto and Marcelito Pomoy went on concert tour this June dubbed as “ASAP Pinoy Champs US Tour,” and as expected, it was really a huge success! And in the recent 2nd 101.9 Tambayan OPM awards, held at the SM City North Edsa SkyDome, he bagged two awards: "Best New Artist" and "Best Male Artist."
Two thumbs-up for you Jovit! Congrats! ;)

The multi-platinum recording artist gladly shared to us that he’ll be doing a concert in Dubai this week.

Knowing the real K-La Rivera

Remember K-La Rivera? K-La is Kayla Meagan Iovan in real life, she’s one the final contenders in ABS-CBN’s singing search program, “Star Power” hosted by the Megastar Sharon Cuneta wherein Angeline Quinto emerged as the winner.
Having been raised in Calgary, Canada, my first impression of this “not just” a pretty face K-La before meeting her was, I thought she is a “snob” and “complicated” person but spending almost a couple of hours chatting and laughing with her, proved us all wrong.

The very candid K-La during the Bloggers' Meet

Her showbiz name, K-La was her own concept, she admitted, to have a “recall” for easy recognition just like J.Lo, one her fave artists as well as Beyonce. An avid fan of RnB (Rhythm and Blues) herself, she also wanted to try different genres as much as possible but still hopes to have a career in Musical theater.

"In The Heights" cast

Speaking of which, the talented artist had been part of the Atlantis Productions’ repeat run of rap-musical play, “In the Heights” last March along with other performers, Nyoy Volante, Jackie Lou Blanco and Ima Castro. And oh, not to forget, she used to be a MYX VJ and was given a privelege to sing the theme song of the movie “Pureza,” the launching movie of Melai Cantiveros, entitled “I’m Feeling Sexy Tonight,” which was originally done by Chona Cruz in the 80’s.

Watch K-La as she sings few lines from
"I'm Feeling Sexy Tonight"

Just like a dream come-true to her, this coming November until December, K-La will be playing Princess Jasmine together with PBB ex-housemate Tom Rodriguez in the musical play, “Aladdin.” When asked about the preparations she’d made so far for the upcoming musical play, she said she’s doing some researching and been watching DVD’s of Aladdin. And when asked about the idea of Ms. Lea Salonga watching her perform, she expressed, “Nakakanerbiyos talaga, it’s nerve-wracking, I hope I can do justice to the role, since “Aladdin” would be played for the first time here in the Philippines.”

Aside from singing, the twenty-year old singer hopes to also excel in dancing and acting. She loves to write songs, but she thinks this is not the right time for her to share her works, not yet hehe. She takes care of her voice by simply avoiding cold water and drink lukewarm water instead. She keeps herself healthy and physically fit by regularly working-out and minimizing consumption of sweets. Being young hasn't been a determent to her when it comes to self-discipline, and I really admire her for that. :)) She considers herself more of a homebody and she’s not a “night” person, she loves to spend more time with her family and close relatives. She’s fond of reading inspirational books and believes that everything happens for a reason, and there’s a reason why she’s here.

Adding to her list of faves, she enjoys singing Tagalog songs and two of which are “Kailangan Kita” and “Kahit Isang Saglit.” She hopes to do collaboration with Mr. Pure Energy, Gary Valenciano someday. K-La even shared that haven’t been given this great opportunity in show business, she’d would’ve pursued her studies and be a psychologist, dentist or have a business of her own. Wanna know her biggest crush?
It’s Sam Milby! ;))

Papa Sam Milby

Lastly, K-La is now a certified recording artist; she releases her debut album under Star Records with the following revival songs: “Lover has Come My Way,” “Say That You Love Me,” “Inseparable,” “Someone’s Always Saying Goodbye” and “You’re All That I Need.”
Good luck to you K-La, I know you deserve everything but the best and we also wish for your success and eventually become an international artist in God’s time. You have our support.

That's me with pretty K-La :))

Special thanks to Flow Galindez for this rare opportunity. :))

It will be awesome. I really hope it works the way I envisioned it.”  Gary V will be performing with two world-class musicians, Awit Awards 2008 Best Female/Best New Female Singer Julianne and Juan Miguel Salvador, formerly of Rage Band and now the musical director of Authority, which represented the country in the 2005 Global Battle of the Bands in London.
