UNIQLO to Launch Jeff Koons UT Collection Unique worldview of the master contemporary artist expressed through graphic tees

0ctober 15, 2021

Global apparel retailer UNIQLO announced the launch of its first UT (UNIQLO T-shirt) collaboration collection with artist Jeff Koons, the American master who, for more than 40 years, has continued to produce some of the world's most impactful and influential contemporary art. The new Uniqlo T-shirt collection will focus on five of his iconic sculptures, expressed in the refined graphic style of UT. Items will be available in the Philippines from Monday, November 8.

Commenting on the collaboration, Jeff Koons says, "I enjoy very much how UNIQLO is in contact with my generation but also a younger generation. Everybody enjoys, very much, their clothing and I love that sense of unity. I hope that this collaboration will help people around the world to connect with each other and that art will enrich their daily lives."

"At Uniqlo, our support and collaboration with artists is our key wish to improve all people’s lives. Jeff Koons represents the positive power of art and its ability to transform who we are and the world around us. Jeff Koons is a source of imagination and commitment and we are extremely proud of our partnership," says John C. Jay, President of Global Creative at UNIQLO.

Respectful presentations, with designs that celebrate Koons’s dynamic art
The collection features images of five sculptures by Jeff Koons including Rabbit and Balloon Dog (Orange), which are among the 20th century’s most iconic artworks. The artworks selected for this collaboration celebrate the themes of self-acceptance, empowerment, and transcendence. The eight items that comprise this collection will also be sold at the Qatar Museums IN-Q giftshop during the solo exhibition Jeff Koons: Lost in America, presented by Qatar Museums, which opens in Doha this November.

NOIX Gear : Innovating and Re-defining Urban Street Fashion

Gearing up with my Noix white hoodie
Photo by: Bedalyn of Beaux Memoir Photo Booth

I am not a fan of sweat shirts and hoodie. But when it comes to comfort clothing coupled with style and fine texture, I'm so "in" to it!

When Noix Gear was first introduced to me by my very good friend Stanley, I couldn't fully express my reactions yet, but when I finally geared up on it and headed the streets wearing this Noix white hoodie as my top, the people who were looking back and taking a second look can now attest to its street smart peg! It was so comfy I can even wear it sun up or sun down.

Wearing Noix Gear gives me the freedom to express myself. I can freely move from one place to another unmindful of the weather. This is so versatile that you can also mix and match this with your skinny pants, like what I am wearing, it's a Uniqlo skinny pants (nice fit!)  and I also opted to put on my Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II black canvas (Climate Change). You can match this hoodie with your jeans, skirts or shorts perhaps.

Experimental pose! Me and my friends find this pose funny but I still posted it because it's a self-expression. I wanted to show the different side of me. I can be boyish sometimes, you know... :))

Joining me during my photoshoot were my very supportive blogger/friends

Angelyn Demo of mommysmaglife.com , me and Gracee Bongolan of itsmegracee.blogspot.com

Me with Angelyn and Bedalyn Aguas of dbedalyn.com

Thanks girls for the time and all the support!!!

Thanks Noix Gear !!!
