Robinsons' 11th Fit & Fun Wellness Buddy Run

Just like in previous years, me and my son Jigo, my running buddy managed to proceed to Robinsons Buddy Run despite the bad weather. When we arrived in Camp Aguinaldo, it was really raining but to our surprise, the loyal supporters of the run and running afficionados still flocked to witness and experience the annual "buddy run" by Robinsons Supermarket.

Much to our liking, there were also some runners who pursued with their run despite the heavy rain. And I admire their dedication and pursuance. Unfortunately, we weren't able to run since my body is not fit to those kind of weather. I want to stay fit, yes but not that way hihihi there arw some factors that we should take into consideration.

But all's well that ends well. The beautiful and sexy body Jessy Mendiola has graced the said event and her appearance really did give a "push" and inspiration to everyone there. Even the witty and wacky Drew Arellano, he was so funny and yet very entertaining. Mikael Daez was also there to render beautiful smiles most especially to the ladies.

The 11th Fit & Fun Wellness Buddy Run kicked off at the parade grounds of Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City with different types of running pairs—parents and kids, siblings, lolos and their apos, loved ones, officemates, best friends, even neighbors—competing in the 5K and 10K races.

“We are happy to provide an opportunity for people to start their wellness journey in a fun and one-of-a-kind event with their partners. After all, getting fit and choosing the healthier lifestyle is more worthwhile when shared with a buddy,” said Jody Gadia, Robinsons Supermarket general manager.

Presented by Robinsons Supermarket, the 11th Fit & Fun Wellness Buddy Run 5K race offered a top prize of a trip for 2 to Siargao with 3 days/2 nights hotel accommodation while 2nd and 3rd placers get Php8,000 worth of Robinsons gift certificates. For 10K race podium finishers, the top prize includes a trip for 2 to Hong Kong with 3 days/2 nights hotel accommodation while 2nd and 3rd placers get Php15,000 worth of Robinsons gift certificates.

After crossing the finish line with their buddies and celebrating fitness in a fun and exciting way, most of the participants also enjoyed exciting activity booths and took home big grocery loot bags that have been the trademark of the Fit & Fun Wellness Buddy Run through the years.

The loot bags contained lots of freebies from Nestle, Johnson & Johnson, Wyeth Nutrition, Abbott Nutrition, Fonterra and Unilab.

JESSY MENDIOLA is "BubbaTealicious" Celebrity Endorser

This pretty face has undoubtedly captured the eyes of the many and the hearts of the choosy men. This 19 year-old young actress was born in United Arab Emirates from her Pinay mom and British-Lebanese dad. She was three years old then when her mom decided to move and stay here in the Philippines for good.
