Ever since young entrepreneur Larry Evans Tan brought CoCo to the Philippines five years ago from the milk tea capital of the world, Taiwan, CoCo has rapidly become a top player in the Filipino milk tea craze and is one of the strongest markets of the CoCo brand worldwide.
CoCo leads in the global tea market with a formidable 4,000 branches spread out across the world and posting an incredible sale of 100 cups per second globally. In the Philippines, where it has become the go-to milk tea brand, one CoCo cup is sold every 4 minutes via delivery alone—further proving the love for CoCo that expands beyond the physical store.

Coco Philippines Gen. Manager Larry Evans Tan

“We’ve seen how well CoCo was received by Filipinos. The CoCo Chill Camp is our way of showing our loyal fans and supporters that we feel their love. And so we want to give them back the happiness that our drinks have brought to their lives, by giving them an experience that’s uniquely created for them,” said Tan, CoCo Philippines General Manager.

The CoCo Chill Camp showcased fun activities for everyone’s delight, including a CoCo Panda Pit, CoCo Pachinko, and CoCo Pearl Toss. These games come with with exciting prizes for lucky guests.

Social media rockstars, who are self-confessed CoCo lovers, ThatsBella, Rei Germar, Janina Vela and LA Aguinaldo, joined the other CoCo fans on the opening day, sharing their love for the brand and revealing their favorite CoCo drinks. ThatsBella and Rei also had the opportunity to visit Taiwan last month to interview CoCo founder Chairman Tommy Hung.

Cheers!!!

And if CoCo fans could not seem to get enough of the bestsellers—Panda Milk Tea, 3 Buddies Milk Tea, White Pearl Milk Tea, and Passion Fruit Tea Burst, CoCo launched a new flavor that is quickly starting to be the new favorite—the Caramel Chocolate Cream, EXCLUSIVE to the Philippine market.

This latest concoction of sweetness, as Tan described it: “waves of caramel blended with chocolate slush over velvety salty cream makes a drink that is decadent for the local palate.”

Explaining the rationale behind this new Philippines-only product, Tan said, “We wanted to create a unique offering that we know the Philippine market would be drawn to. What’s better than caramel and chocolate? This is definitely something new beyond the milk tea that CoCo is known for.” Tan explained.

The overwhelming reception of CoCo in the Philippines made Tan very much optimistic with the future of CoCo among Filipino milk tea lovers. “We are definitely responding to the clamor of our customers into bringing CoCo more accessible to them, we are opening our 2nd branch in Cebu by the end of the month and we’ll be opening our 1st Mindanao branch soon.  And we continue to explore with new flavors that we know our customers would love,” he revealed.

The CoCo Chill Camp will run until September 19 and Tan invites all CoCo fans to join in the fun and bring their friends and families to experience the dynamic vibe in the camp that the brand is known for.

So what are you still doing there, get up on your feet and let's all have some fun at the Coco Chill Camp! Let's chiiiiiiillll!!!

Enjoying NaiCha

Have you ever tasted a tea or perhaps a Pearl Milk Tea that you really enjoyed 'til its last drop? Well, I'm not goin' to be selfish with you, actually, I'd love to share my newly- found Nai Cha Pearl Milk Tea.

My very first NaiCha Pearl Milk Tea

Food and Fashion bloggers were invited to attend NaiCha's "Bloggers Preview Assembly" held at the Petron Katipunan, Quezon City.

LG2 Autostation and NaiCha, Petron- Katipunan branch. NaiCha branches do have wi-fi access fyi, cool huh! ;))

NaiCha CEO, Ms. Josephine Floresca was very amiable in sharing with us NaiCha's brief history and how it begun here in the Philippines.

And today, something really good is invading the Philippines...

NaiCha company profile: (from www.naicha-philippines.com)

Nai Cha Milk tea first started selling its ice-blended milk tea with gummy jelly pearls for the first time in December 2010 from its main store located across Royal Duty Free mall.
Surpirsingly it became a favorite not only by Subic residents alone, but also with tourists visiting the mall during weekends and holidays. Regular visitors to Subic would always drop by the main store to have taste of the ice-cold beverage on their journey home.
In March 2011, Nai Cha Enterprises has tied-up with Treetop Adventure Subic wherein iths tourists can enjoy a thirst-quenching cup of milk tea after the heart-stopping but enjoyable rides. March 2011 also saw the opening of Nai Cha kiosk in the heart of Olongapo City near its many schools, colleges, business and hospital that all could enjoy the goodness of milk tea and its chewy pearls right outside its business doors.
As time passes, the management see the demand and the potential of the product thus the rise of the NaiCha branches in Manila.

During the said event, we've learned that Pearl Milk Tea originated in TaiChung City, Taiwan in the early 1980's at a small tea stand. This unique drink gained a following since then in many parts of the world. People take the pleasure of refreshment by sipping on the silky milk tea while enjoying the chewy texture of the sweetened pearls.

The privilege of having an authentic Taiwan milk tea experience will be shared with the Filipinos as well. NaiCha Philippines made the move to let all of us savour the ultimate beverage satisfaction through NaiCha Milk Tea.

With the top selection of fresh tea leaves like black and oolong tea as a main ingredient, NaiCha Milk Tea helps supply our body with added Calcium, Iodine, Amino Acids, and antioxidants thus making us feel good and live healthily.

This pretty face has undoubtedly captured the eyes of the many and the hearts of the choosy men. She was three years old then when her mom decided to move and stay here in the Philippines for good.

She was introduced as one of the 18 new talents of Star Magic Batch 15 along with Jon Avila, Bela Padilla and Martin Del Rosario. ABS-CBN didn’t let any wasted chance come by of this precious find; her appearance in another popular teleserye, “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo,” as Coco Martin’s love interest paved the way for her launching in a starring role in an afternoon drama-series, “Sabel.”

During the press con of her very 1st drink endorsement, the “BubbaTealicious” pearl milk tea at NAPA restaurant in Quezon City, Jessy was so glad and thankful for being its product endorser. She was also excited in sharing with us that she’d finally engaged herself and her mom in a business. She’s managed to put up her own BubbaTealicious kiosk located in front of ABS-CBN bldg.

She is not just a pretty face, according to her, she lives a very healthy lifestyle and she always make a point to exercise regularly and involving herself into “boxing,” would you believe? According to BubbaTealicious management, they've chosen Jessy as their very first celebrity endorser because she's a perfect inspiration for today’s youth, the actress is one of the few teens that can juggle life's demands while having fun at the same time. TRIVIA: Jessy's personal faves are Royal Milk Tea, Taro and Caramel Milk Tea

And a part of Jessy’s healthy lifestyle is exercise and drinking tea. Jessy started drinking tea at an early age and it is part of her regular diet. Now that she is 19, Jessy has discovered a new way of drinking tea through BubbaTealicious Pearl Milk Tea Place, where fun and healthy meet. Because of this, Jessy now drinks a fresh cup of milk tea in the morning to jumpstart her day.

Preserving the traditional way of Chinese tea brewing method with the modern mix of fruit concoctions, milk, fresh fruits, chewy tapioca, and taro.
