That afternoon was filled with surprises; it was also a very memorable, fun, happy and informative meet-up with Callalily. It was like a "getting to know" moment with the band,  we never expected (I bet you don't either) that Lemuel's family owns the very famous "Lala" chocolate factory, cool huh! Aside from that, Lem is also a member of a band named "Banda ni Kleggy," which Kean asked us to also support, all for the love of OPM. We've also known that Tatsi is a culinary graduate, cool! And here's another interesting trivia --- they're all still single! Well, Kean adamantly admitted that he's exclusively dating; Aaron's status is "It's complicated," while Tatsi said, "Nag-iipon muna talaga ko ng solid eh bago....  pera muna haha," and Lemuel's reply was "Career muna s'yempre, di ba, madaling magmahal pag mas maraming pera hahaha (joking)." Everyone was laughing and enjoying every moment shared with the band as if we were a big, happy family. :)) 

Seriously, Callalily expressed their hopes about their latest album and their upcoming launch on October 12, 2012 at the Eastwood Central Plaza, 8pm, they said, "Gusto sana naming marinig s'ya ng mas maraming tao, gusto sana namin na marinig s'ya ng mga kaibigan n'yo, mga kapatid n'yo, mga pinsan n'yo na masabi namin 'yung kwentong sinasabi namin dito sa album na 'to." It is a celebration of new beginnings, friendships and good music. So guys, feel-free to watch them and be part of their comeback album launch this Friday, okay? They promise us a different kind of experience, isn't that exciting? So let's join them! ;-)

Let us all admit, aside from consulting to different medical practitioners, engaging into various laboratory tests and going to the clinics or hospitals, Filipinos somehow, would really result into getting the services of an "albularyo" to perform "healing" sessions. This is also the first time that a very delicate theme like this was tackled in-depth in local film.

Vilma Santos, lead star of "The Healing" was so elated on the ratings they've received for the movie, she said direk Chito Rono really fought for that, so the moviegoers would have the freedom to choose between the two options. On the other hand, award-winning writer Mr. Roy C. Iglesias couldn't be happier when his story was approved since this was really tailored-made to the "Star for all Seasons." Gov. Vilma Santos have been hoping and dreaming for this kind of movie, she said, "I've been asking Chito for so long for something like this and I'm so glad that it's finally happening. The "Soothing Voice of Asia" Juris Fernandez- Lim not only enjoys being a happy wife to Gavin Lim, another reason for her auspicious mood is that her latest album "Forevermore" recently reached the gold record status. 

Her second single "Magkaibang Mundo" from the said album is set to release and was written by the former Sugarfree vocalist Ebe Dancel. This precious gem of Star Records' "Acoustic Pop Sessionista" is going to enchant her beloved listeners not only in the Philippines but also in other South East Asian countries as she is set to be positioned to be the "Soothing Voice of Asia," with the launch of her third album supposedly this month of May. Her latest album produced by Singaporean company S2S will be an all-English repertoire that would cater to the wider South East Asian market.

Juris' fateful success as a solo artist started with Star records. Her first album "Juris: Now Playing" has achieved the platinum status. Her hits include soothing renditions of well-loved Filipino ballads like "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin," Don't Say Goodbye," and "Forevermore." We could listen from the petite singer's second album as a solo artist, "Forevermore" her original composition entitled "Bliss" which she really feels proud of and hopes that the song will make it as a soundtrack in one of ABS-CBN's teleseryes. ;-) Go girl!




When asked about her dream collaborator, she said, she wishes to collaborate with Bono from the international group U2 and wants to do duets with local artists Joey G. of Side A and Ebe Dancel. She likes listening to the songs of Ms. Lea Salonga, Regine Velasquez and Barbra Streisand. Being her favorite music group, she asked "The Company," to sing Norah Jones' "Come away with me," during their wedding, which according to Juris, that was his hubby's theme song for her, isn't that sweet?! ;)) And to all Juris' followers, her fave colors are yellow and dark blue and green.
